What you will be doing

You will be part of a high-performing team responsible for developing and maintaining our in-house Laboratory Information System (LIS). Your focus will be on integrating with various vendors, developing new APIs, and contributing to research projects. You will work in a self-organized delivery team with highly skilled colleagues. As we continue to expand and modernize our systems, you will have the opportunity to help build up the structure together with your new teammates.

Your focus will be on maintaining and developing applications using agile methods. As a Full-stack Developer, you will work closely with an experienced team in a varied and development-intensive area, collaborating closely with our medical and research staff. You will play an important role in modernizing our systems and applications, helping to elevate our services to a new level, and assisting us on our journey towards integrating advanced technologies. You will build new APIs in .NET and deploy them, as well as develop modern web applications for our internal users.

Our tech stack includes: .NET, C#, React, MSSQL, MySQL, T-SQL, Entity Framework (EF, EF Core), Graylog. We utilize Azure DevOps for our development workflow.

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for:

  • Architecting, designing, and developing new software products and components for our in-house LIS
  • Creating resilient, secure, and performant applications
  • Defining the best technical solutions and infrastructure for new features
  • Being responsible for the quality of the delivery
  • Maintaining applications from a development and requirements perspective
  • Having a vision on how to future-proof our systems and applications
  • Using your technical expertise to proactively find solutions to complex issues, understanding and considering the needs of our medical staff and patients
  • Integrating our systems with various vendors and external platforms
  • Participating in research projects and contributing to innovations in medical informatics

To thrive in this position, we believe you have:

  • At least 3-5 years of React work experience or similar
  • At least 3-5 years of .NET work experience
  • At least 3-5 years working in an agile environment
  • Good skills in C#
  • Good skills in RESTful API development
  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Growth mindset, positive and collaborative attitude
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in T-SQL and experience with MSSQL and MySQL databases
  • Experience with Entity Framework (EF, EF Core)
  • Experience with integrations and interfacing with third-party systems
  • Experience with HL7 standards and GraphQL
  • Experience with Graylog for log management and monitoring
  • Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems
  • A passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes through technology

Salary 2000-4000 Eur + benefits

Competitive salary range (to be specified based on experience and qualifications).
